About the team
Gameplay:
The player controls Luuma. Her objectives are to free a member of her tribe in each level and to find a piece of broken mask to access bonus levels.
Luuma can pray Kaltulah when she's in front of an altar. By doing so, her god helps her, giving her access to new paths. To do so, the player has to touch the screen when Luuma is in front of an altar.
With the power of the altars, she can also change the gravity, gainning access to other paths. To do so, the player has to rotate his tablet/phone.
But as this action makes the god turn mad, he will activate traps and close the paths he opened before. Kaltulah will forgive Luuma only if she prays for him again.
We were a team of 12 students working together on Game Trap: 2 programmers, 4 graphic designers and 6 game/level designers.
We also collaborated with 2 sound design students.
We developped the game on Unity.
We had to finish the prototype within 3 months.
We got the voice of Benoît Allemane for the game, which is pretty amazing.
The finished project has been presented during the Gamagora Game Show the 4th of April.
Our game can be found on the Google Play Store for free!
